DBA at Physics Databases section
Responsible for both LCG (LHCB Computing Grid) and LHCb (experiment) Oracle RAC databases. Oracle RAC databases for Physics work on Linux, use ASM and includes 220 CPUs, 300TB of disk. Responsible for section' web pages, RAC reports and policies.

Responsible for architecture, design and implementation of a ubiquitous storage component that combines the user data with information of the context. The implementation was done using Personal Java and MySQL and was developed within a research project of new communication technologies and a context-aware system with pervasive network.

Supervised by Eric Grancher, was responsible for make performance tests and usability documents about Oracle 9i and Java using native compilation, jdbc, oci and PL/SQL native compilation.

Programmer for General Fishing Inspectorate (IGP), responsible for update the Oracle database to version 2 of the project and upgrade from Oracle 7.3.3 to Oracle 8.1.7. The objective of the project is to provide a reliable system to manage and track all the fishing resources under responsibility of IGP (inspection missions, boats, fish banks, seaports, judicial proceedings, infractions). It currently evolves a team of about ten persons.

Responsible for the idea of the site and creation in HTML and all developments and new features of the websites (now in PHP and MySQL). As editor and journalist for "A Telefonia Virtual" the work includes coverage of conferences, interviews and news writing. A Telefonia Virtual is a group of two web sites. One is a magazine about radio in Portugal (www.telefonia-virtual.com) and the second is a directory in Portuguese of on-line radios from all over the world (www.cibertransistor.com). The sites use HTML, PHP and MySQL database.
